Key Technologies for Integrated Production via Above-Ground and Below-Ground Circulation in Saline-Alkaline Calcium WellsAn industrialized application technology that has won the Second Prize of the Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. This technology deeply couples underground salt mine extraction with soda ash production, achieving integrated above-ground and underground cyclic production of salt, alkali, and calcium. Waste liquid from soda ash manufacturing is injected into underground solution cavities for salt mining, while the extracted brine serves as raw material for soda ash production, forming a closed-loop cycle. This technical route fundamentally resolves the environmental bottleneck of waste liquid discharge in the ammonia-soda process while significantly improving the utilization rate of rock salt resources.
It has been successfully implemented in large-scale domestic projects for the comprehensive utilization of rock salt resources. The related engineering design has received First Prizes for Excellent Engineering Design at both provincial and municipal levels. This technology is suitable for soda ash production enterprises possessing rock salt mineral resources.
